Farid Zayn al-Din, the Syrian Ambassador to the US (left), in a television debate on NBC with Abba Eban, the Israeli Ambassador, discussing the Arab-Israeli Conflict. The partition was placed under request of the Syrian Embassy and the debate was aired on NBC on March 11, 1956.
